DRESS REGULATIONS
The following applies on the course and in the clubhouse:
1. Shirts:
• Collared shirts are preferred, but golf-specific non-collared shirts without offensive graphics are acceptable.
• Tank tops, muscle shirts, singlets, football jerseys and shirts with offensive slogans or graphics are not allowed.
• Neat and clean t-shirts without offensive graphics are permitted in the Clubhouse.
2. Bottoms:
• Tailored golf shorts, skorts or slacks are recommended.
• Cargo shorts, jeans and golf dresses are permitted.
3. Footwear:
• Golf shoes with soft spikes or spike-less golf shoes are recommended.
• Athletic shoes with non-marking soles are allowed but should be clean and in good condition.
• Barefoot, flip-flops, sandals, crocs, and football socks are not allowed.
4. Headwear:
• Golf caps or hats are encouraged to protect from the sun and may be worn in the clubhouse.
• Offensive or excessively branded headwear will not be allowed.
5. Miscellaneous:
• Cut-off, athletic, bicycle, or exercise shorts/pants, swimwear, stubbies and clothing with offensive symbols or slogans are strictly prohibited.
• Golfers and clubhouse visitors should ensure their clothing is clean, in good condition, and free from holes or tears. 6. Special Events:
• For special events or tournaments, the dress code may alter, so it’s advisable to check in advance.
• Replica sporting jerseys are permitted in the clubhouse when supporting a televised event.
7. Golf Attire for Juniors:
• While the above dress code applies to junior golfers, flexibility may be exercised to encourage young golfers to enjoy the game.
8. Enforcement:
• Golf course staff will monitor and enforce dress regulations.
• Golfers and clubhouse visitors not adhering to the dress code may be asked to change or may not be allowed to play/attend the clubhouse.
9. Respect and Common Sense:
• Golfers and clubhouse visitors are encouraged to use common sense and respect for the game and other people when choosing their attire.
• Please be mindful of the comfort and enjoyment of others at Wakehurst Golf Club.
Remember, these dress regulations are meant to promote a positive and respectful atmosphere on the golf course and in the clubhouse while maintaining comfort for all.
PERSONS INCORRECTLY DRESSED WILL NOT BE PERMITTED TO PLAY OR BE SERVED IN THE CLUBHOUSE.
